Despite the cold and the rain, I spent a fabulous day framing a home with some of my fellow female co-workers at a
Habitat for Humanity Women Build home. The home is located in one of our neighborhoods, and some time ago my boss contacted Habitat about getting the City involved. We were asked to kick-off the build and do the initial framing, and we all had a great time! It's not often that our office jobs allow us to get dirty, use a hammer, and spend a day with one another outside of the workplace. Needless to say, by the end of the day we surprised ourselves with the progress we had made, not to mention the men from our organization that stopped by to "see it with their own eyes."
