Pawla, to be precise. I scooped her (and her matching mate) up from a lovely little sale at Macy's the other day. And since I am "a bit behind the game", I just might spend my impending Valentine's Day with the both of them and a sparkly glass of wine. If you have any other fine suggestions for this day, do let me know...

Valentines Day is SO overrated...I have always said that...even now, it's more a Hallmark, money making day.
To me, love makes itself known on a daily basis, not just on the supposed "special" days.

I agree with Ms. Simplicity...why do roses cost $30 or $40 a dozen in December...but then $100 in February? It's all a racket!
But, we men sludge along through the racket anyways! Besides, I think spontanity is a better option than Valentines day...everyone gets flowers on Valentine's Day...but not many people get flowers on the 3rd of June, or the 11th of November.
The shoes look awesome though...they may be a bit cold in the foot of snow we just got though.

You know I always love a good pair of red shoes!! If you want, I will most likely be home on Valentines Day with you! We can split a bottle of wine if you want!
